To nurture creativity, cultural diversity and intellectual engagement among students by providing a platform for the exploration of literature, art, and culture, fostering holistic personal development and social awareness.

Mission:

Activities and Events:

The Literary and Cultural Club organizes a wide range of activities to engage the student body and foster creativity. Some of our key events include:

Literary Fest:
A celebration of literature through essay writing, poetry recitation, story-telling, debates, and creative writing competitions.

Cultural Fest:
A grand event showcasing the diverse cultural traditions through dance, music,theatre, mime, mimicry, mono-action, fashion shows, folk arts etc., giving students a platform to express their cultural heritage.

  1. Workshops and Seminars:
    Regular workshops on creative writing, drama, photography, and public speaking to help students hone their skills. Seminars on literature and culture featuring guest speakers and authors are also conducted.
  2. Drama and Theatre:
    The club stages plays, skits, and theatrical performances with a focus on both classical and contemporary themes, providing students with an opportunity to explore acting, direction, and stage management.
  3. Book Reading and Discussions:
    The club hosts book-reading sessions, discussions, and debates on various literary works to promote critical thinking and appreciation for diverse genres of literature.
  4. Festivals and Celebrations:
    The club celebrates important cultural festivals and days like Independence Day, Republic Day, World Poetry Day, and others with relevant activities that bring students together.
  5. Intra and Inter-college Competitions:
    The club organizes and participates in competitions with other colleges, allowing students to engage with peers from other institutions, exchange ideas, and gain exposure.
  6. Annual Cultural Awards:
    Recognizing and awarding outstanding contributions in literature, art, and cultural performances, the club encourages students to continue excelling in their fields of interest.
